THE LIQUID CAPITAL TEAM
John Doucette is President and owner of Liquid Capital of Northeast Ohio. A frequent speaker and author
on topics related to small business finance, John provides his clients with operating capital and expertise
regarding accounts receivable management and collections. He works with area banks, accountants and
other business consultants to enable them to offer alternative financing and operational strategies to their
clients.
Before returning to small business ownership John held a variety of management, technical and sales
positions over a career spanning both small companies and major corporations including BP and Computer
Associates. He has also been a principal in several small ventures focusing on IT services and support.
John received his BA degree from Tufts University and his MA from Cornell University. Liquid Capital of
Northeast Ohio is a member of COSE, the West Shore Chamber of Commerce, the Broadview Heights
Chamber of Commerce, the National Funding Association and several other professional and networking
organizations. John also performs with the band of the German Music Society in Cleveland and is a local
interviewer for the Tufts Alumni Admissions Program.
Maryann Doucette is married to John and works with him at Liquid Capital. She is responsible for local
back office operations and client support as well as participating in business development activities.
Maryann previously worked for several large engineering firms as a Project Administrator, preparing status
reports and tracking engagement progress. An avid quilter, Maryann heads the Community Service
committee of North Coast Needlers.
